10 minutes: I can no longer count the number of corners won by Arsenal. It’s relentless pressure from the home side. Arsenal have scored a quarter (eight) of their goals in the first 15 minutes of WSL matches this season. Can they do the same thing again today?

8 minutes: Arsenal dominate the early stages of the match. The midfielder works well towards the right where Beth Mead sends in a cross. He is blocked by a Tottenham defender and goes out for another corner.

Robert Vilahamn is hoping to spoil Arsenal’s party, as he indicated in his press conference on Friday. “I mean, we’ve never beaten them before and I think that shows what we’re capable of and shows what we want to do every game against them, so I think that’s proof that we’re taking action. So of course, beating them again would be even nicer to show the world that we are making new steps.

The Emirates Stadium is indeed full for today’s derby. Eidevall is delighted as he speaks to BBC Sport pundits on the touchline.

Speaking at Friday’s press conference, Jonas Eidevall was excited about the prospect of a full house at the Emirates Stadium today. “Yeah, I heard we have 166 tickets left, so anyone can rush in and get lucky and get those last few tickets. It’s amazing, it’s awesome, and it clearly shows that this isn’t the case. is not unique. Less than 12 months ago we filled the stadium for the first time for the women’s team against Wolfsburg in the semi-final of the Champions League… We are not only looking for heights, but we are also looking for consistency, we “We’re looking for sustainability, we’re looking to create a culture at the Emirates Stadium week in, week out, and this is showing great progress in that direction.”

Preamble

Hello and welcome to follow live minute by minute Arsenal against Tottenham in the Women’s Super League.

This is an opportunity for Arsenal to keep the pressure on Chelsea and Manchester City at the top of the table, following City’s 2-1 victory over Everton yesterday. Jonas Eidevall’s side will be hoping to entertain the home fans at a packed Emirates Stadium.

For Tottenham, it’s a chance to beat Arsenal again after a historic 1-0 win over the Gunners 1-0 in December (their first WSL win against Arsenal). Although Tottenham sit sixth in the table, Robert Vilahamn’s side will be keen to show they have closed the gap between themselves and their north London rivals.

This should be a competitive derby in North London, complete with a fantastic atmosphere.

To start up 12:30 p.m.
